Carillon’s Production
Order module allows you to:
- Assemble or Disassemble Items - With
Carillon you can assemble or disassemble items into new
items;
- Define Workcenters - Define unlimited
work centers along with their efficiency rate and capacity
unit of measurement;
- Define Tasks - Define unlimited
tasks;
- Define Operations - Define unlimited
operations (tasks done in workcenters) including instructions,
the unit standard cost, the unit price and the work center
capacity used;
- Define Assemblies - Define unlimited
assemblies (bills of material) with engineering effectivity
dates;
- Have Unlimited Levels - Carillon
allows you to have unlimited levels in your bill-of-material;
- Include Operations - With Carillon
you can include operations (tasks done in workcenters)
at each level of the bill-of-materials;
- Reference Assemblies - Reference
each assembly to a drawing and bubble number;
- Track Revisions - You can track
revisions of assembly definitions;
- Indicate Shipments - Indicate
if components of an assembly can be shipped or whether
only the completed assembly can be shipped;
- Track Production - You can track
production orders by location;
- Copy Definitions- With Carillon
you can copy assembly definitions to new (similar) definitions
to assist in their setup;
- Create Planned Production Orders - You
can create planned production orders including a built-in
approval process;
- Release Planned Production Orders - You
can release planned production orders to the shop floor;
- Calculate Quantity - With Carillon
you can have the system automatically calculate the quantity
of components/raw materials needed to complete a production
order after considering the expected yield of each component/raw
material;
- Customize the Bill-of-Material - Customize
the bill-of-material (including the operations) needed
for any individual production order;
- Close Production Orders as Needed - You
can close production orders multiple times as operations
or certain quantities are completed;
- Allocate labor- Carillon allows
you to allocate labor and other overhead to the manufactured
items;
- Assign and/or Track Lot Numbers and Serial Numbers - Assign
and/or track lot numbers and serial numbers of components
consumed or made in the manufacturing process;
- View Assemblies in Treeview - You
can explode assemblies in a treeview (Windows Explorer,
with the plus signs next to directories, is an example
of a treeview);
- Find Assemblies using Components - Carillon
allows you to find all assemblies that use a component
in Carillon's Where-Used inquiry window; and
- Print Reports- You can print many
different reports including Production Schedules, Indented
Bills-of-Materials, Production Orders, Production Order
Summaries, and Work Center reports.
Production Orders can also be created automatically
in the Sales Order Entry window. This is very useful for
custom items or non-stock items. |
